Lankan with fake passport nabbed at Guam airport

Guam: A 26-year-old Sri Lankan woman who tried to enter Guam using a fake passport was arrested by of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents while at the airport.

Shamini Kumar attempted to enter the United States on February 17 by presenting to a US Customs and Border Inspector a Canadian passport in the name of Aswevi Jegatheeswarn.

Further interrogation showed that the passport did not belong to her. The woman, from Batticaloa, is now in federal custody and was indicted for using a false passport. Variety News, Micronesia
