Forces advance continues in Mannar
The troops operating in the Mannar battle front
yesterday advanced further in to Tiger territory on three fronts
from Thiruketheeshvaran, Uyilankulam and Palakkuli amidst stiff
resistance from the LTTE, a senior Army official told the Daily

Makkal Viduthalai Pulikal were killed yesterday as an LTTE suicide
cadre blew himself opposite the Kali Kovil in Kalavanchikudi in

Navy intelligence has confirmed that three
senior level female Sea Tiger cadres were among the 10 Tiger cadres
killed in the air attack on the inland Sea Tiger Base west of
