Chairman    LB Finance B.M.Amerasekera

LB Finance recorded a phenomenal over 50 per cent growth at the end of 2007 with its deposit base crossing the Rs. 6 billion mark.

The company's deposit base of Rs. 4 bn as at December 30, 2006, is reported to have increased to Rs. 6.3 bn, as at December 31, 2007.

Its resounding success and continuing confidence among investors attributed to its competitive rates of interest and excellence in service.

"The significant increase in deposits during the concluded year highlights the trust and confidence placed in us," a spokesman for the company said.

Our depositor base is over 10,000, and we are committed to rewarding their trust and loyalty, continuously value-adding to our product portfolio to ensure an exceptional service.

"The strength of our staff; a team of handpicked industry veterans, has also contributed in helping us maintain and augment superiority in fixed deposits," he said.
