Toyota Lanka to import self branded motor oils and lubricants
Toyota Lanka becomes the first Sri Lankan automobile company to
introduce self-branded automobile lubricants to cater to its local
market, adding value to its customers.
The agreement between the Ministry of Petroleum and Petroleum
Resources Development permitting Toyota Lanka to import lubricants to
Sri Lankan market was signed on January 8 in the presence of the
Ministry Secretary A. P. A Gunasekera.
Additional Secretary Kanthi Wijetunge and Managing Director Nobuhiko
Kato Toyota Lanka (for Toyota Tsusho Corporation) Manohara Atukorala
(General Manager Finance and Administration) and Manager (Parts)
Priyantha Perera were present.
Managing Director of Toyota Lanka who represents Toyota Tsusho
Corporation, Nobuhiko Kato commented “I am proud to be present at this
prestigious event, a day of history in the making for Toyota Lanka.
We are very confident that through this arrangement we can provide
further high quality service and value addition to our customers whilst
contributing to the environment and the economic development of the
country.
Therefore, we greatly acknowledge the approval granted by the
Government of Sri Lanka for the importation of Toyota Genuine Oil that
will certainly help us to provide a highest service beyond customer
expectations.

Atukorala said they are proud to be the one and only company in Sri
Lanka to integrate the sale of brand new vehicles, servicing of vehicles
and the sale of genuine spare parts (3S).
We will also be the first company to introduce a wide range of
genuine motor oil and lubricants carrying the same brand name as an
automobile manufacturing company with a world class brand of automobile,
