Robber gang in police net

A robber gang of five youths responsible for a spate of robberies committed at Hanwella town, Diddeniya, Niripola, Neluwattuduwa and Yatiyantota areas has been arrested by the Hanwella police.

The police said on questioning the suspects a motor bicycle robbed at Hanwella town and some Jewellery robbed at Yatiyantota have been recovered from Matale, Hanwella and Padukka respectively.

The suspects are from Neluwattuduwa, Salawa, Tittapattara, Kaduwela and Yatiyantota.
