Flower power: Cut flower export is a booming business in Sri Lanka. Japan, Malaysia and the U.S.A are some of the major buyers for cut flowers. They are popular among Sri Lankans too. The Shirohana flower shop imports their plants mainly from Holland every six months. They are then planted in their farm at Nuwara-eliya. They also have a good demand in the Sri Lankan market.
