Member of Parliament would be provided with security with a minimum of
four guards plus weapons and vehicles.
The Members exposed to threats would be provided more security after

Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayaka and the Inspector General of Police.
He also told Parliament it was decided to instruct the
Superintendents of Police to provide security to the residences of
Members of the Parliament.
