What did 2007 bring?
In 2007, as in other years, the heavens did not
disappoint us. Four eclipses took place, visible from different
places on Earth. First was a total eclipse of the Moon on the night
of March 3-4, which was best visible from Europe or Africa.

Spain’s time on earth had run out. Heaven knows this world of ours
cannot afford to do without human beings of his calibre and yet
there is only so much that an individual can do for humanity before
he, too, must unto the dust descend.

New hope on climate change
To reach an agreement by 2009, we must move
beyond current generalities by which rich and poor countries argue
about who should be blamed for climate change and who should pay the
costs. We will need a true global business plan that spells out how
the new technologies are developed, tested, and adopted on an
expedited basis worldwide.
