Blast in Fort, none injured
A suspected parcel bomb placed in a telephone
booth opposite Lake House roundabout and adjacent to the Regents
flats was exploded last night just few minutes after Air Force
Commander Roshan Gunatilleke passed the location. The Air Force
Commander had left the Air Force Headquarters a few minutes earlier
to proceed towards his official residence.

Fake credit card ring leader nabbed
Bangalore police have stumbled upon an
interesting link after the Saturday arrest of suspected LTTE men in
Mangalore. The supplier of fake credit cards to the suspected
criminals and the one involved in the credit card racket unearthed
in Bangalore last year is the same person.
