Sangakkrara joins elite band of centurions
Vice captain Kumar Sangakkara drew level with former captain Marvan
Atapattu for the most number of hundreds following his trail blazing
knock of 152 on the forth day of the first Test match against the
touring England team at the Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy.
The elegant left hander completed his 16th three figure mark while
playing in his 69th Test match while Atapattu retired having also scored
the same number of hundreds from 90 Test matches.
Aravinda de Silva heads the list with a total of 20 hundreds followed
by skipper Mahela Jayawardena who is in second place with 19 centuries.
