Panora receives Environmental Certification

Panora Corporation, a fully owned subsidiary of the well diversified PCH Holdings, has received ISO 14001 certification for its manufacturing plant located in Colombo, for adopting and maintaining outstanding environmental management systems and practices.

ISO 14001 is awarded to companies that maintain environmental policies and objectives, engages on environmental Impacts analysis, maintains EMS Manuals, EMS procedures and work instructions, carry out competency training for staff, conducts internal audits and management review meetings, adheres to measurement and improvement, that implements corrective and preventive actions and comply with legal and other regulatory requirements.

Panora Corporation has seen improvements in the disposal of garbage, fire precautions and fire prevention system, environmental aspect and impact analysis systems, training and improvements in ventilation systems and in electrical installation.
