Dettol, Health Ministry promote good hygiene

Dettol announced the launch of the Dettol protection among the masses
programme. The programme aims to advocate good hygiene practices in the
family environment and health institutions to ensure protection against
germs.
This will be conducted through the rehabilitation of District
hospitals and medical camps throughout the country. Dettol implements
the programme jointly with the Healthcare and Nutrition Ministry.

Kumerini Candappa said, it is a great opportunity to work with the
Ministry as health is one of the utmost concerns in bringing about a
healthy nation.
'Dettol Protection to the Masses', kick starts with the Uva province,
in which the Welimada Base Hospital, District Hospital Uva Praranagama,
Keppitipola Maha Vidyalaya and Girambe Sri Khemananda Maha Vidyalaya
will be rehabilitated.
Medical camps for children and mothers will be held in 12 locations
in the province. New mothers will also be provided a care booklet of
looking after infants and they will also be given a free Dettol
antiseptic Liquid sample. |
