‘Siriliya Saviya’ National programme

The 19th distribution of wheelchairs, student scholarships, agricultural equipment, sports goods and sewing machines organised under the ‘Siriliya Saviya’ National programme was held at the Deniyaya Madya Maha Vidyalaya under the patronage of First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa recently.

Here the first-lady handing over a wheel chair to a disabled child during the distribution ceremony.

Media Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardene, Southern Province Chief Minister Shan Wijayalal de Silva and Deniyaya SLFP Chief Organiser Wijaya Dahanayake were also present on the occasion.
