Bodhi Pooja to bless President, Armed Forces

A special ‘Bodhi Pooja Pinkama’ to commemorate President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s second year anniversary of his assumption of office as President of the country and his 62nd birthday, will be held on November 16 at the Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya under the guidance of the Chancellor of the Sri Jayawardenapura University and the Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharadikhari Prof. Bellanwila Wimalarathna Thera.

The Sri Lanka Independent Professionals Organisation consisting of a combination of the Sanga, Veda, Guru, Govi and Kamkaru (the Pancha Maha Balawegaya) are organising this event to bestow blessings on President Rajapaksa, the Armed Forces and the War Heroes who have sacrificed their lives for their Motherland, for their fullest commitment and contribution in bringing peace to country.

Wheel-chairs received as donations, will also be presented to disabled persons at this occasion.
