Delgoda murder case:

Girl identifies one suspect

Magistrate Court Gampaha yesterday commenced hearing the killing of five members of the same family at Delgoda, Mahawatta. The suspects alleged to have killed mother, father, two children and grandmother.

When the case was taken up before the Magistrate A.M.M. Sahabdeen, two more suspects were produced for identification. The sole survivor of the family who was under medical treatment for injuries received during the attack Dinusha Madurangi was taken to give evidence.

The girl was also able to identify one of the two suspects at the identification parade. Magistrate ordered the suspects to be remanded until October 18.
