Govt’s development progress praised

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Louis Arbour met President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees last morning.

She commended the progress achieved by the Government in the development sphere especially the work relating to North-East reconstruction and in human rights.

The UNHR High Commissioner who is on a four-day visit also had discussions with several Government representatives.
