Kudu Rajini, Leela among six held for drug dealing

Six suspects trafficking heroin including a woman known as Kudu Rajini and Kudu Leela were arrested with 16 packets of heroin in their possession by the Matale Police anti-fraud unit during a raid in Matale yesterday.

The arrest was made while the other five suspects had come to purchase the drugs for delivery from the woman suspected to be a distribution agent, OIC anti-fraud unit Sugath Wijesundara said.

After interrogating the five men, the police team had used a decoy to arrest the woman by getting him to pose as a drug peddler.
