Using astrology to manage your business
Dhammika Vitharanage
(Continued from last week)
We discussed about the Lagna Lord’s influence on one’s employment
prospects, and looked at the 9th (bhagyasthanaya) house (Rashi), the 5th
(Education or vidyasthana) house 2nd (Income/ dhanasthana) house, and
finally this week we will be looking at the 11th house (gains/labeem) to
conclude with the houses associated in gauging a person’s employment
prospects.
Let us first have a very basic illustrative understanding of a
person’s 11th house (gains/labeem)
The 11th house (gains/labeem) speaks about one’s gains, meaning
income plus total receipts and other ancillary gains. From
the strength or the weakness of the 11th house or the positioning of the
11th house Lord we can extrapolate a person’s total gaining potential.
If the 11th house or the positioning of the 2nd house Lord is strong
his/her total gaining capacity will be high.
This leads us to believe that a person should have high income
receipts and vice versa when the 11th house or the positioning of the
2nd house Lord is weak when his/her total gaining capacity will be poor.
As we learned before, we are concerned with the 11th house (gains/labeem)
Lord’s status and the planets that are positioned in the 11th house
(gains/labeem). When the 11th house (gains/labeem) Lord is positioned
strongly in a good house, for eg. 9th, 2nd, 10th or the 11th the house
itself, generally it is likely that the person would have firm gains.
Further, depending upon the dasa periods and sub dasa periods, it
will tell us how high/reach peak or low total income a person would
receive.
But as a rule of thumb when the 11th house (gains/labeem) house Lord
is positioned strongly in a good house that person will never run out of
monetary gains.
Further depending upon the 11th house Lord’s status the person’s
gains through luck are assessed not only from employment but from every
facet of life.
In employment, when the 11th house Lord is placed well, things like
these can transpire. In a case of an employed person; if he/she is
working as a Deputy suddenly the top person may pass away, or a new
division may be created, opening doors for a new top position for the
Deputy thus making/placing him/her in a top position elsewhere.
In a case of an entrepreneur it can be in the form of, bidding for a
colossal tender where a minute’s chance existed but the tender is
awarded due to other large bidder being disqualified over a trivial
matter.
Lucky are those born with both the 11th house (gains/labeem) and 11th
house Lords being positioned in strong places.
This makes them become very successful entrepreneurs and thus leading
large business organisations. Before moving to the next article about
the main house (10th house) that directly deals with employment,
profession and vocation we can sum up by saying that in order to arrive
at a successful reading and a prediction about a person’s employment,
profession and vocation one should analyse not only the house that
directly deals with employment, profession and vocation but Horoscopic
9th, 5th, 2nd and 11th houses too.
We must again reiterate that these are generally considered as being
good although not necessarily being a hard and fast rule
as these differ according to planetary permutations/ combinations of
each individual as mentioned previously and that is when the service of
a competent Astrologer should be sought.
Given are two examples summing up of
above mentioned hypothesis
Example 1
We can see that this person’s 11th house Lord Moon is positioned in
the 12th house.
From our previous knowledge, we know that this is not a favourable
position for 11th house Lord to be. Further the 10th house Lord Mercury
is positioned in the 6th house. This person after 27 years of service
still works as a Junior Executive in a bank. Two promotion interviews
went astray as he failed to attend them due to a long-term illness.
Example 2
We can see that this person’s 11th house Lord Moon is positioned in
the 9th house. From our previous knowledge, we know that this is a very
favourable position (Uchcha) for 11th house Lord to be.
Further the 10th house Lord Mercury is positioned in the 9th house
that forecasts favourable happenings in overseas related activities.
This young lady was working at the International Relations Department
in a multinational firm. The firm ventured to a European country and she
was promoted as the Country Manageress ahead of a few senior people that
worked in the International Relations Department.
