Six LTTEers killed

MANNAR: An attempt by a group of LTTEers to break the Narikkulam Forward Defence Line was thwarted by the Security Forces yesterday morning in Mannar.

Six Tigers were killed, said the Media Centre for National Security (MCNS). A group of LTTE cadres was obstructed by the Security Forces manning the post by drawing heavy fire. The incident occured around 9.30 a.m.
