Using astrology to manage your business - part 4

------ Continued from Wednesday -------

WE DISCUSSED yesterday about the Lagna Lord’s influence on One’s employment prospects, but it is not only the Lagna Lord but there are several different Rashi’s that further impact One’s employment prospects.

We looked at the 9th (bhagyasthanaya) House (Rashi) last week and the next house to be looked at its the 5th (Education or vidyasthana) house.

Let us first have a very basic illustrative understanding of a person’s 5th House (vidyasthana)

The 5th house speaks about one’s education as in a laymen’s term we believe “though necessarily not” good education always leads to a decent job. In a commercial context however, to a large extent this is true as we can see in today’s world that most of the well educated receiving quite respectable employment prospects.

More the education, less the physical intensity (efforts) of a person and less the education it may seem that more the physical intensity (efforts) of one’s employment.

As we learned before, we are concerned with the 5th house Lord’s status and the planets that are positioned in the 5th house.

If the 5th house Lord is positioned strongly in a good house, for eg. in 9th, 11th or the 5th house itself, generally the person would have a good, sound education. Further, depending on the dasas and sub-dasas, it will tell how soon a person would attain his/ her education credentials.

Astrology readings are based on 9 planets (Neptune, Uranus and Pluto have been excluded). Out of these 9 planets, we sub-divide the planets between Good (subayo) and Bad (papiyo).

The good planets are termed as benefices, they are, the Moon (Sadhu) Mercury (Buda) Jupiter (Guru) and Venus (Sikuru). Bad or malefic or papi planets are Sun (Soorya), Mars (Kuja) Saturn (Shani) Rahu and Kethu (North and South Nodes).

Apart from the 5th house Lord’s status we now need to have a look to see whether any planets are placed in the 5th house as well.

When the benefices fall onto the 5th house the person usually will have a sound educational background, which will in turn help him/her to secure a well paid job.

We must again reiterate that these are generally considered as being good although to necessarily being a hard and fast rule as all these differ according to planetary permutations/combinations of each individual as mentioned previously and that is when the service of a competent Astrologer should be sought.

The above theory does not differentiate between a person “going to work” or the kind who would “run one’s own business” type (become an entrepreneur).

Simply by looking at the 5th house alone it is difficult to judge whether the person will work under someone or start his/her own business (entrepreneur) but the competent Astrologer however is capable of predicting that by looking at the 10th house Lord’s positioning.

Now we will discuss how this is being segregated by a competent Astrologer. It can so happen that when the 5th house Lord is strongly placed while the 10th house Lord is weak, he/she may not become a good boss or a leader so most likely would be employed under someone.

One the other hand, if the 10th house Lord is strong and the 5th house Lord is weak this gives an opportunity for one to be a strong leader even though not being as educated but could be the entrepreneur and a fine leader.

Any science to develop theoretical know-how should match practical a spects, so given are two examples summing up our above mentioned theories.

This person studied to a PhD level but his skills in people management are very weak and he is a timid person. Astrologically we can see that his 10th house Lord Saturn is not that powerfully positioned.

His Saturn is placed on his 3rd House on an “average status” but his 5th house Lord is positioned on the 5th house itself together with Mercury who is in charge of studies in Astrology. This combination gave the necessary boost for his higher education platform.

In this person’s planetary position it is clearly sent that 5th House Lord Jupiter is debited in the 6th house.

Hence he studied only up to the 4th standard but his 10th house and 11th house Lords are powerfully positioned (swakshesthra) in their own houses and this has brought him to a position of managing a large business even though not being able to understand any complex management information reports that are being presented by the qualified people that he employ.

The most interesting fact is his signature which is a thumb imprint as he is unable to sign his own name.

So if the 5th house and the 5th house Lord is very strong, one might become a PhD holding professor but at the same time if that person’s 10th house or 10th House lords are weak, he/she will only reach to the extent of “being employed” becoming neither an employer or an entrepreneur.

On the other hand, it becomes possible that if One’s 10th house or 10th House lords are strong though his/her 5th house or 5th House Lords are weak he/she may also become an employer or an entrepreneur.

Lucky are those born with both the 5th house and 10th house Lords being positioned in strong places. This makes them become very successful entrepreneurs and thus managing large business organisations.
