Veyangoda: M.A. Lalani Inoka, a mother of five of No. 20, Panahena, Essalla, Veyangoda is suffering from a chronic kidney failure. Consultant Nephrologist Dr. A.W.M. Wazil of the Kandy Teaching Hospital has recommended an urgent kidney transplant to save her life.

She says the kidney donor is now being subjected to medical test in preparation for the surgery to be done within the next two months. She says she is unable to find the money needed to purchase her drugs which are costly due to her present financial plight.

She requests philanthropists and the public to assist her financially by sending whatever contributions possible to account number 079-2-001-8-4811530 at the People's Bank, Veyangoda Branch.
