Navy camps for Silavathura, Mullikulam
As the ground troops are consolidating their
positions in Silavathura, Arippu and Kondachchi, the Navy is
planning to establish two Navy camps in Silavathura and Mullikulam
to provide security for the fishing community.

Three killed in landmine explosion
Three civilians were killed when a tractor
transporting sand from Uppudai to Vantharamoolai in Batticaloa was
caught in a landmine explosion yesterday around 2.30 p.m, a
spokesman for the Media Centre for National Security told the Daily
News.
