Intimex Consulting to hire more Lankan talent

Intimex Consulting, the globiz strategy consultancy servicing the premium level market is currently pursuing an aggressive recruitment drive aimed at attracting more Sri Lankan talent and offering them niche opportunities in the knowledge economy.

The founder and chief strategist of Intimex Nibras Bawa said his company is looking for more Sri Lankans to be trained by their international team of consultants. The recruitment is also expected to facilitate Intimex's global expansion drive that will transform associate operations in India and Bangladesh to fully fledged

operations early next year thus making Intimex, the specialized market entry consultancy in the sub continent.

Commenting on the challenges faced, he said "In high profile consultancy businesses like ours, we face a pretty vicious war for talent. Given the shortage of top people, there's obviously mileage in targeting individual consultants for recruitment. It's even more difficult as we are a niche consultancy firm specialising in Market entry and Export strategy. We head hunt the best globally and are hopeful we can find a few Sri Lankans who match our benchmarks"

Nibras went on to say his company has positioned itself to servicing the cream of the industry with consultants of seven nationalities deployed across the globe on projects for their high value segment.

Currently Indian talent accounts for nearly fifty percent of Intimex's intellectual capital and the firm has associate operations strategically located in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore covering the length and breadth of India. Intimex's unique recruitment process however puts a ceiling on the consultant's age to a maximum forty five.

Nibras noted that today, people are judged by their competencies, attitude and results adding that the oldest member of his team is only fourty and the youngest is a twenty two year old Chinese graduated from the USA.

Intimex is an international export strategy consultancy firm with a new breed of strategists carving out a niche in the area of Global Export / International Marketing related consultancy assignments with its core solution areas in Export Strategy, International Marketing and International Market Entry.
