from police for Gama-Neguma."

fulfilled. According to Wellawa Police OIC Inspector Laxman Bandara the
residents in these villages were fully satisfied with the services
rendered by the police with the co-operation of the members of the Civil
Security Committees and the philanthropists in the area. The guidance of
the Maha Sangha was a great encouragement.

were carried under the personal supervision of DIG (NWP) Pujith
Jayasundara. Members on my staff too worked hard. The Grama Niladharis
helped a lot. We hope to carry out some more development projects in the
near future in villages that lack facilities," Bandara said.
