Nobel prize laureate for SAFMA summit

COLOMBO: The Nobel Prize Laureate Prof. Mohammed Unus will arrive in Sri Lanka today to take part in the 6th anniversary summit of the South Asia Free Media Alliance (SAFMA) which is scheduled to be held on August 18 morning.

Prof. Mohammed Unus will deliver the keynote address during the summit under the theme “Peace and poverty alleviation through media” at the Cinnaman Grand Hotel. The session of the summit will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayake.

Prof.Mohammed also will deliver a public lecture at the Central Bank Auditorium in Rajagiriya on August 18 organised by National Development Trust Fund.
