Budget on November 7

COLOMBO: The Budget proposals for 2008 will be presented before Parliament on November 07, State Revenue and Finance Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said yesterday.

The first reading, of the Budget is due to take place on October 10. The budget debate is scheduled to be held from November 09 to December 14. The Budget proposals for 2008 will be presented after considering the public view, Minister Siyambalapitiya added.
