Scholarship exam on August 19

COLOMBO: The Examinations Department will hold the Year 5 Scholarship Examination on August 19 with the participation of 293,940 candidates in 2,624 examination centres and 479 coordinating centres.

The exam which consists of two papers will begin at 9.30 a.m.

The first paper will commence at 9.30 a.m. and will proceed upto 10.15 a.m.

The second paper will start at 10.45 a.m. and continue until 12 noon. According to Examinations Department sources the exam paper will have the same face as usual and no changes has been made to the content.

The exam will be coordinated by 479 coordinating centres. Out of 293,940 candidates there are 70,210 Tamil medium candidates qualified for the examination.
