Dull trend continues

BOURSE: Most companies, specially the blue-chip companies’ fundamentals are quite strong. But the Colombo Stock Market is quite volatile as a lot of buyers are looking at political developments to invest in the market, sources said.

Yesterday the total turnover was Rs 72 million. The All Share Price Index went down by four points and the Milanka Price Index dipped by 9.8 points.

The number of shares traded in volumes at the end of the day was three million and the heavily traded shares were SLT 301,900, HNB 101,000, Kotagala Plantation 255,000 and Lanka Walltiles 79,000.
