A copy of a petition addressed to US President George W. Bush urging him to act on complaints in the contents of the petition submitted to him by the Non Aligned Movement to extradite Luis Posada Carriles to the Bolivian Republic of Venezuela to stand justice, was handed over to Ogalys Lopez, Deputy Head of the Asia Division of the Cuba Institute of Friendship by Minister Tissa Vitarana, President of the Sri Lanka-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Association at a meeting of the Sri Lanka-Cuba Friendship Association held in Parliamentary complex recently. Speaker W.J.M. Lokubandara, MP Bimal Ratnayake, and Cuban Ambassador in Sri Lanka Enna Viant Valdes were also present.
