SLT, Millers in total communications deal

PARTNERSHIP: Sri Lanka Telecom recently entered to an agreement with Millers Ltd. to provide a comprehensive communication solution for the inter-branch communication.

SLT's communication solution will enable to connect Millers's eight colour labs and warehouses in Colombo, Negombo and the suburb areas, with the state-of-the-art IP-VPN solution for data communication, new PABX system for internal communication and total voice services provided through a high capacity E1 connection.

Managing Director T D E Jayanithie, speaking on the reason, why the company tied up with SLT, said; "We have always had a good rapport with SLT and the services they have provided us over the years have been beyond our expectation.

Through this agreement they offer us a diverse range of services and benefits, such as island wide connectivity, the high quality of service, the scalability of the IP - VPN network as well as a customised solution based on our requirement among others.

It also gives us the flexibility to incorporate other products and services when needed in the future."
