This stage will be the most strenuous and difficult part of the Rally where they will have to overcome many hurdles before they reach Kandy for the break for fuelling and rest. Drivers will continue their journey to Colombo for the finish at Buddhadasa Stadium, Kotte.

In the past none of the drivers were able to win the event twice Rizvi Farook, Iqbal Hassan, Mansoor, Themiya Abeywickrama and Shafraz Junaid are the top contenders to grab honours in this years event.

Rizvi who has been a driver has competed in many different categories including formulas and Iqbal and Munsoor too with many wins under their belts should battle it out for honours.

Meanwhile Themiya Abeywickrema too is a driver with lots of experience in competing in rallies will be a tough opposition for other drivers. All these drivers expect the fullest co-operation from the co-drivers to achieve success.

Shafraz Junaid who has been very familiar with motorcycles and also won many events on his two wheeler will enter the fray in four-wheelers. He could pose a big threat to all experienced competitors.

All competitors will drive from wheel vehicles. A keen tussle could be expected at both days.
