Enterprise Development Minister promotes investments and tourism
With German business and political leaders:
The Minister of Enterprise Development and
Investment Promotion, Dr. Sarath Amunugama who is on an official
visit to Germany met with several key German political and business
leaders in Berlin to brief them on developments in Sri Lanka and to
discuss ways at strengthening and promoting tourism and investment.

Slightly over six per cent GDP growth in first quarter
Sri Lanka has recorded a 6.1% GDP growth rate
during the first quarter of this year, Director General of the
Department of Census and Statistics Suranjana Vidyaratne said at a
press conference, yesterday. He said the growth rate was 7.9% in the
first quarter of last year.

MTN networks investing Rs. 50m in new SAP technology
MTN Networks Ltd, which operates Dialog GSM, are
