Ladies Open Golf tourney on October 20

GOLF: The Victoria Golf and Country Resort will conduct their second annual Ladies Open golf championship on October 20th and 21st. This Ladies open tournament is expected to draw competitors from the Indian Sub Continent, Singapore, Malaysia, the Middle East, UK, France, Switzerland, Germany and Scandinavia in addition to top lady golfers from the local golfing scene.

To go with Victoria's uniqueness as a golf course in Sri Lanka - voted the best on the Sub Continent - the Ladies Open will have a unique feel as it will be a net event. In contrast to most open events, the winner can come from anywhere in the field. The Ladies Open will feature a 36 hole stableford tournament.
