Trinity outplay Wesley 48-22

RUGBY: Trinity College Kandy produced a superb second half rally to beat Wesley College by 48 points to 22 points in their Singer inter school ‘A’ division league rugby tournament match played at Longden Place yesterday.

The Trinitians cut loose in the second half and went on to win the match by a convincing margin after the scores had been level seventeen all at half time.

Trinity College altogether planted six tries with fly half Kenneth Jacobs converting all tries and also fired across two good penalties.

The Wesleyites responded with one goal and three tries.

Nizam Jamaldeen refereed.
