Nintavur primary school handed to Education dept.

ADDALAICHENAI: The German Friendship Primary School
constructed at Nintavur Arasadithottam with the assistance of Help
Alliance-Germany was handed over to the Education Department by the
Centre for East Lanka Social Service (CELSS) Nintavur.
Deputy Minister of Scientific Affairs Faizal Cassim and Deputy
Minister of Subsidiary Agricultural Crops Development M.T. Hassen Ali
opened the newly constructed buildings. Head of Help Alliance-Germany
Rita Diop unveiled the plaque of the building.
CELSS President M.I.M. Ameen thanked the Help Alliance-Germany for
providing school with computers and allied facilities. This is something
great and kind thought of Help-Alliance towards the children of this
remote area to put them on par with the urban areas.
“The children should make the maximum benefit out of this. The
parents and teachers should concentrate on their children’s education.
Deputy Minister also gratefully remembered the CELSS for their efforts
in making this scheme a great success.
Deputy Minister Hassen Ali said he was happy to have ‘German
Friendship Primary School’, first of its kind in the area. This is a
rare opportunity to brighten the knowledge of children in an area like
this. He thanked the CELSS for their untiring efforts in bringing this
project here.
Rita Diop thanked the CELSS and the people in the area for according
them a warm reception to her and team. She also paid her special
gratitude to CELSS for accomplishing the task entrusted to them
efficiently and the Contractors for completing this project in a very
short spell of time.
Former Deputy Minister M.S.L.M. Hisbullah, Additional Zonal Director
of Education S.K. Anatharajah, Principal of the school A.L.M. Yakoob and
several others spoke.
At the conclusion those who contributed their services in
constructing the project were presented with mementos by the guests. The
head of Help Alliance-German Rita Diop was also presented with the
memento by Deputy Minister Faizal Cassim. |
