MOU

An MOU on Phytosanitory measures between Sri Lanka and Chile were signed by Minister of Agriculture Development and Agrarian Services Maithripala Sirisena and the Minister of State of Agriculture in Chile Ms. Maria Leuna Leiva recently in order to strengthen bilateral relations in the Agricultural sphere of the two countries. Here the two Ministers exchange souvenirs after signing the MOU. The Ambassador to Chile in Sri Lanka Dr. Jorge Heine, Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture Development and Agrarian Services T.M. Abeyawickrema, Director General of Agriculture Dr. Chandrasiri Kudagamage and other Senior officials of the Ministry of Agriculture Development were present.


Govt. will provide optimum benefits for people - President

President Mahinda Rajapaksa reiterates that his Government is fully committed to reap the optimum benefits for the country and its people.
