Iranian Foreign Minister calls on President
Strengthening Lanka, Iran ties:
COLOMBO: Iranian Foreign Minister Manocher Mottaki yesterday
met President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees where matters of mutual
interests to both countries were discussed.
The President and the Foreign Minister exchanged views on ways of
strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries and also
issues vital to the economic and social development of both countries.
Also present were Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama, Deputy
Minister Hussein Bhaila, Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga
and Foreign Secretary Dr. Palitha Kohona. |
