UNHCR threatens IDPs

COLOMBO: The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) has threatened Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the East not to resettle in their areas saying they would withdraw support extended to the IDPs.

The UNHCR, it is learnt has done this through leaflets distributed among IDPs and UNHCR action targeting IDPs in those areas.
