Birthday wishes to Vajira from President

COLOMBO: President Mahinda Rajapaksa sent his warmest greetings to Prima ballerina Vajira on her 75th birthday yesterday.

Vajira is the first female professional dancer in Sri Lanka, who spurred a revolution in Sri Lanka's dance arena along with her husband Chitrasena.

The President wished continued success in her quest to reach new heights in the field of dancing in Sri Lanka.
