ANL heads back to Europe
COMMENCENT: Container Line Australia which also operates to Colombo
confirms its participation on the CMA CGM NEMO Service which commenced
loading in Europe last week.
A fixed day weekly service (fortnightly until May) on 13 dedicated
vessels and a 91 day rotation will offer services from North Europe and
the Mediterranean to Australia and New Zealand, direct to Jakarta, Port
Kelang, Chennai, Colombo and Jeddah, before returning to the
Mediterranean and North Europe via the Suez Canal.
Announcing ANL’s newest service, Managing Director and CEO, John
Lines, said “The return of ANL to direct services to/from Australia, New
Zealand, the Mediterranean and Europe, is very pleasing. We look forward
once again to extending ANL’s experience and legendary customer service
to our new and existing customers in this trade.”
“Direct calls from New Zealand/Australia into Jakarta, Chennai and
Colombo are also services long called for by our customers; as well we
can now offer direct services from Jakarta, Port Kelang, Chennai and
Colombo directly into the Mediterranean and North Europe”, he said. |
