Commercial links between LTTE and al-Qaeda- FM

THE activities of the LTTE are no longer confined to Sri Lanka as the IISS publication Military Balance 2007 has pointed out there are now emerging commercial links between the LTTE and the al-Qaeda movement, Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama said in London.

SLTB invests Rs. 400m for marketing

THE Sri Lanka Tourist Board would be investing Rs. 400 million for their marketing campaign for 2007 said the Chairman SLTB, Renton De Alwis. This is an increase of Rs. 50 million from 2006.
