Tough action against terror suspects

Ethnic, political and social factors not considered :

The police will not hesitate to detain any suspicious character with links to terrorist organisations, IGP Victor Perera asserted yesterday. "We will not consider their community, political affiliation or official stature as we have a duty to ensure national security," Perera told at a news briefing.

Techno Park expected to generate massive earnings and employment :

Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) has allocated USD 300, millions for Techno Park, a mega IT industry, Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama said handing over approval letters for seven new IT projects yesterday.
