Fresh condition inspection report for reconditioned vehicle
importers from March
COLOMBO:Importers of reconditioned vehicles are required to
produce a fresh “Condition Inspection Report” from March 1, Controller
of the Department of Imports and Exports Neil Bandara Hapuhinna said.
This step was taken to reduce the production time limit stipulated
for importing reconditioned vehicles to promote the quality of
reconditioned vehicles put to the market, he said.
The production time limit for reconditioned cars now at three and
half years and the limit of five years for vans and other vehicles will
