COLOMBO: The Education Ministry is planning to introduce ‘Magnetic
Timetable Planning Boards.’ “With the introduction of this for the first
time to Sri Lanka’s education field, principals could make best use of
time and other resources,” Education Minister Susil Premajayantha said.
He was speaking at the presentation of magnetic timetable planning
boards at the Education Ministry yesterday.
Premajayantha said the Magnetic Timetable Planning Board would play a
key role in human resource management and time management.
“This is a totally new approach to Sri Lanka’s education sector,” the
Minister said.
Ten timetable planning boards were distributed among 10 schools from
all parts of the island.
This project was funded and technically assisted by the German
