GCE OL: 13,034 students from Batticaloa district

BATTICALOA: A total 13,034 students from Batticaloa district will sit for the GCE O/L examination this year.

Among them 7,293 students are school candidates and 5741 are private applicants according to the Zonal Director of Education, Batticaloa, A.M.E. Paul.

For this examination which begins on December 11, Kalkudah educational Zone will have 1,292 students and 1960 students from Pattiruppu zone will sit the exam.

There will be 94 examination centres and 13 co-ordinating offices will be established in the district for the convenience of the district, he said.
