Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka concert

COLOMBO: The Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka will stage their annual
concert at the Ladies College in Colombo on December 8. The family
Christmas concert will be held on December 10.
The Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka, the Asia's pioneering Symphony
Orchestra functioning for 50 years is conducted by Professor Ajit
Abeysekera.
The concert will feature talented musicians, in its effort to add
variety to the evening of music that would give the audience a feeling
of Christmas.
The Symphony Orchestra will present music by world renowned composers
such as Brahms, Johann Strauss, Rossini Leory Anderson, Berlioz and
Schubert Menaka de Fonseka Sahabandu will go solo with songs such as 'Ah
Je veux vivre' from Romeo Juliet composed by Gounod.
The Sunera Foundation will be showcasing their activities in support
of fund raising for the welfare of differently abled children. Link

subscription and family christmas Concerts.
Chairperson of the Sunera Foundation Sunethra Bandaranaike said at a
conference that the Foundation was lending a hand to the differently
abled children numbering around 700 islandwide apart from the 1700
tsunami traumatised children.
The Foundation will also hold an exhibition titled Spirit Of Sunera
that will feature their work with differently abled in Sri Lanka.
