Microsoft services division launched

LAUNCH: Microsoft announced the launch of the Microsoft services
division in the country last week.
"We can guarantee that through Microsoft services Sri Lankan economy
will improve to a highest level. It is a multiple effect in the economy,
where Microsoft works with its partners to provide technical assistance
to its customers.
Through this process as Microsoft has achieved in other countries it
can assure technical and productive improvement to its customers and
partners as well.
Globalized technical know-how of Microsoft will be transferred to its
customers and partners in Sri Lanka, too" said Service Lead of Microsoft
Sri Lanka, Sanjeev Jayaratnem at the press conference of announcing the
launch of its service division in Sri Lanka.
Microsoft also told the press, it's stable on a long run in Sri
Lankan business environment in different ways. Where its globalised
technical expertise and its sophisticated customer base will strengthen.
"Very strong technical capability will make Microsoft stable in the
country in the short term and longer term its depend on the support of
customers and their technical needs.
We have got 6000-customer network worldwide. We hope we can bring our
global expertise to the local market and can achieve for an extent" said
the Country Manager of Microsoft Shriyan de Silva.
"We spend US $ 7 billion on research and development globally through
this. We can ensure that we are stable in the global IT world" said
President Microsoft South East Asia Chris Atkinson.
"Microsoft considers that Sri Lankan customers are interested in
premier service, one of the Microsoft's service categories. In Sri Lanka
most of the businesses have already purchased the technology.
Now they expect the technical support to continue in the future.
Through premier support services, there is a technical support account
manager for each customer who will be closely interacted with customers
and understand the real technical environment of the company. |
