Abacus launches Abacus Travel Secure in Sri Lanka

Booking solution: Abacus Sri Lanka officially launched Abacus TravelSecure, Abacus' fully integrated travel insurance booking solution, by enlisting Hayleys AIG as its very first travel insurance partner.

By this Abacus is enabled to provide local travel agents and travellers easy and convenient access to Hayleys AIG's travel insurance policies through the Abacus host system. Abacus TravelSecure brings real time and immediate activation of travel insurance policies to the Sri Lanka travel industry.

General Manager, Abacus International Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., Desiree Karunaratne, said "We are very excited about this partnership as it not only provides an integrated travel insurance option but it also broadens revenue opportunities for travel agents and gives increased flexibility and distribution to Hayleys AIG for their content".

Travel agents have welcomed the introduction of AIG's insurance policy access on the Abacus system.

Abacus TravelSecure provides travel agents with a seamless integrated ability to book travel insurance, with key features such as, Easy integration as the travel insurance segment is integrated as one of the travel components, together with reservations for air, hotel or car within the same passenger name record (PNR).
