Security measures can be relaxed if situation improves - PM
The Government hopes to relax some of the stringent
security measures now in place as the situation improves, Prime Minister
Ratnasiri Wickremanayake told Parliament yesterday.

UPFA MP Piyasiri Wijenayake was yesterday named the
new Deputy Chairman of Committees in Parliament. Minister Susil
Premajayantha told the House that this would be a temporary appointment.
