Seminar on Dispute Resolution

WORKSHOP: The Chamber of Construction Industry Sri Lanka in collaboration with Sri Lanka National Arbitration Centre will host the above seminar on August 26, 2006 at Ceylon Continental Hotel.

Supreme Court Judge Justice Saleem Marsoof will deliver the keynote address.

Technical sessions of the seminar will be addressed by Eng. Rohan Thudawe, Prof. Chitra Wedikkara and Sanjay Rajaratnam, Deputy Solicitor General.

The panel of legal luminaries will be chaired by Romesh de Silva, P.C. and will include attorneys-at-law Edgar Cooray, K. Neelakandan, Sunil Abeyratne and Hiran de Alwis among others.

The seminar is designed to enlighten the construction contractors and others engaged in construction related activities of the channels available for resolution of disputes.

The participants of the seminar will be entitled to seek authoritative opinion during the panel discussion.

Written intimation of issues faced by participants may be submitted prior to the seminar to the Chamber Secretariat to facilitate comprehensive clarifications.
